Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the DRI plant.
Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in motors, MCC/PCC panels, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, and LT/HT systems.
Maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, earthing, and power supply networks.
Carry out cable laying, glanding, termination, and replacement of damaged cables.
Monitor the health of motors, pumps, conveyors, fans, and other plant equipment.
Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore equipment within minimum downtime.
Experience in maintenance of DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant
Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and control schematics.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports,



and equipment history.
Follow electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
Coordinate with Mechanical and Instrumentation teams during maintenance activities.
ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in Steel Plants.
