We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our servers, networks, and systems, while mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Design, implement, and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime

- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy across the environment

- Oversee patch management, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation

- Configure and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers

- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies

- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency

- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior system administrators

- Collaborate with security, networking, and development teams on cross-functional projects

- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support and emergency response





- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001)

- Manage multi-platform servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud services

- Maintain security and compliance, ensuring documentation is followed as per defined processes and reporting requirements

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role

- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)

- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls)

- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)

- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions

- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

- Willingness to work in different shifts, including holidays, as required

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, RHCE, VCP)

- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Datadog)

- Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹475,000.00 per year
