Role Description As a Senior Shopify Developer at Langoor, you will lead the development and optimization of high-performing Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce stores for a range of brands. You will be responsible for building custom themes, implementing Shopify apps, integrating third-party services, and ensuring responsive, accessible, and performant front-end experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to best practices, code reviews, and technical documentation.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru,



where you will mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement across projects and workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Shopify and Shopify Plus, including custom theme development, Liquid templating, and Shopify APIs.
- Solid front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design, with experience in modern frameworks or tooling.
- Experience integrating third-party services and apps (payments, shipping, analytics, marketing tools) into Shopify ecosystems.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, performance optimization, SEO fundamentals, and analytics-driven improvements.
- Ability to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and product teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern development workflows, including testing and deployment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a digital agency or e-commerce-focused setting is preferred.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work on-site in Bengaluru with cross-functional, diverse teams.
