Senior Security Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Security Developer with 2–3 years of experience in application security, API security, monitoring, and system protection. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with developing security solutions, monitoring threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing mechanisms to protect applications, APIs, and data.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain security solutions for applications, APIs, and backend systems.
- Monitor systems, APIs, logs, and security events to identify suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Implement API security measures including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and access control.
- Develop mechanisms for threat detection, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Work on application shielding and protection against common attacks.
- Implement secure coding practices and security controls across development workflows.
- Perform security testing, vulnerability assessment, and code reviews.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and investigate security incidents.
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to improve overall system security.
- Stay updated with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security best practices.

Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Security Development, Application Security, or Cybersecurity.
- Solid understanding of API Security, Application Security, and Network Security.




- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and RBAC.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common web/API vulnerabilities.
- Experience with security monitoring, logging, alerting, and threat detection.
- Understanding of application shielding, WAF, rate limiting, and security controls.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or Go.
- Experience working with REST APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
- Understanding of databases, encryption, TLS/SSL, and secure data handling.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD security practices.

Good to Have
- Experience with SIEM or security monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud security concepts.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes security.
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and automated security scanning.
- Relevant security certifications such as CEH, Security+, or equivalent.
