Job Description – R&D-Thiruvallur; Plant(Chennai)
Key Responsibilities
Lead development of recent resin-based products aligned with market requirements and business strategy.
Design, formulate, evaluate, and validate resin systems for construction chemical applications. Improve existing products for enhanced performance, durability, application properties, and customer satisfaction.
Optimize formulations and raw materials to reduce cost without compromising quality or performance. Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, batch consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Establish and standardize critical process parameters and controls.
Execute Stage-Gate NPD activities, including project planning, laboratory trials, pilot trials, and commercial validation.
Coordinate with Product Management, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Marketing for timely commercialization.
Lead technical investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and CAPA for resin-related complaints.
Implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Provide technical support for production trials, process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to all Weber Plants.
