Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Quantity Surveying, or related field
Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Key Responsibilities
Prepare CAPEX estimates, BOQs/BOMs and cost plans for greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, SLDs, layouts, specifications and equipment schedules.
Estimate major Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, Civil and Architectural MEP packages.
Prepare unit-rate analysis covering materials, equipment, installation, testing commissioning, logistics and manpower.
Review RFQs/RFPs, tender documents and specifications and identify scope gaps, risks and exclusions.
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs/subcontractors for quotations and prepare technical commercial comparison statements.
Support vendor negotiations, tender pricing and value-engineering initiatives.
Understand data center redundancy concepts such as N, N+1, 2N and 2N+1 and their cost impact.




Develop cost benchmarks such as cost/MW, cost/rack and cost/sq.ft.
Maintain historical cost databases and market rate benchmarks.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read SLDs, PIDs, layouts and technical specifications.
Strong BOQ, estimation, and commercial skills.
Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
Knowledge of Uptime/Tier, TIA-942, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC/IS standards is preferred.
Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Candy, BIM/Revit/Navisworks is an advantage.
