We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Diagnostic Laboratory Technician to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Diagnostic Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing laboratory investigations, maintaining quality standards, handling laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting clinicians in delivering timely and reliable diagnostic services.
Collect blood, urine, stool, and other laboratory samples as per standard protocols.
Perform venipuncture and sample handling procedures safely and efficiently.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of specimens.
Laboratory Testing
Perform routine laboratory investigations including:
Hematology
Clinical Biochemistry
Serology
Immunology
Urine Analysis
Semen Analysis (if trained)
Operate laboratory analyzers and diagnostic equipment.
Validate and record test results accurately.
Quality Assurance
Follow laboratory quality control procedures.
Ensure adherence to NABL and quality standards (where applicable).
Maintain laboratory documentation and records.
Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks.
Report equipment malfunction promptly.
Ensure proper inventory management of reagents and consumables.
