Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead and manage engineering and execution activities for Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects. The ideal candidate should possess solid technical expertise in WTP, ETP, STP, and RO systems, along with proven project management capabilities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Design Management

- Lead and oversee detailed engineering activities for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Prepare, review, and validate Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), plant layouts, and other engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with the AutoCAD and design teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, mechanical documents, and piping material specifications (PMS).

Project Planning & Execution

- Plan, organize, and monitor project activities to ensure execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, progress reports, and activity schedules on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and challenges, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Technical Leadership

- Act as the technical lead for assigned projects and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
- Identify technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective engineering solutions.




- Review engineering drawings and technical documents to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
- Participate in technical discussions, client meetings, and design review sessions.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, engineering teams, and project sites.
- Manage vendor interactions, technical clarifications, and project-related communications.
- Facilitate smooth coordination between the engineering department and site execution teams.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare technical indents, material requisitions, and obtain necessary approvals from management.
- Manage project documentation, datasheets, design records, reports, and technical correspondence.
- Develop customized billing breakups and project-related reports as directed by the Department Head.
- Provide regular project status updates and present technical progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of WTP, ETP, STP, and RO plant processes and systems.
- Expertise in engineering design, project execution, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting PFDs, P&IDs;, layouts, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment industry projects.
- Proven track record of managing engineering and execution phases from concept to commissioning.
- Strong client-facing and vendor management experience.
- Ability to drive projects independently while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Pay: ₹860,783.03 - ₹1,533,981.55 per year
