About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Node.js developer with hands-on fintech project experience to join our team for Loan Management Systems (LMS) . You will build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs that power financial applications, payment workflows, and related services. You’ll collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, data teams, and security/compliance specialists to deliver reliable, secure, and compliant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, architect, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js backend services and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
- Lead development of payment processing, transaction workflows, reconciliation, settlement, risk management, and reporting modules.
- Architect and implement secure integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, credit bureaus, fraud detection systems, and KYC/AML services.
- Drive technical architecture decisions, system design, and backend best practices across the engineering team.
- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and scalability through efficient database design, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing.
- Implement and enforce security standards, regulatory compliance, and secure coding practices (PCI DSS awareness, data encryption, tokenization).
- Collaborate with frontend teams and product managers to define API contracts, data models, and service architecture.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practice implementation.
- Lead CI/CD implementation, automated testing strategies, linting standards, and deployment pipelines.
- Implement observability and monitoring systems including logging, metrics, tracing,



and alerting.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and system performance tuning.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with high test coverage (unit, integration, and API tests).
- Design and maintain microservices architectures and event-driven systems for financial applications.

Required Qualifications:

- 6+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years with Node.js.
- Strong expertise in Node.js runtime, asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices-based systems.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, API security, and API gateway architectures.
- Expertise in databases including PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, with strong skills in data modeling and query optimization for financial applications.
- Solid understanding of payment ecosystems, settlement flows, and fintech compliance considerations.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, and secure token-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, and message queues.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Robust experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in Git-based collaboration workflows and code review processes.
