Job Summary

Ensure reliable operation of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems for uninterrupted paper machine performance.

Key Outcomes
Hydraulic system reliability across the paper machine.
Minimized hydraulic-related downtime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
Improved equipment performance through continuous improvement and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems across Headbox, Press, Calendar, and Reel sections of the paper machine.
Inspect hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators, manifolds, and filtration systems.
Monitor hydraulic oil condition, contamination levels, pressure, flow, and temperature parameters.
Diagnose hydraulic failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Support electro-hydraulic systems integrated with PLC and DCS control platforms.
Execute preventive, predictive, shutdown, and breakdown maintenance activities.
Support commissioning, testing, and optimization of hydraulic systems.
Coordinate with production, electrical,



instrumentation, and maintenance teams for effective issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with hydraulic safety standards, LOTO requirements, TPM, 6S, and workplace excellence initiatives.
Drive reliability improvement projects focused on leakage reduction, oil consumption optimization, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications / Experience

ITI/ Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electrical or related discipline with hands-on experience in hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems within continuous process industries.
