We are seeking a qualified Sports Psychologist to support athletes' mental well-being, resilience, and performance at Halt Sports Injury (HSI). The role involves working with athletes and multidisciplinary teams to enhance performance, support injury recovery, and promote mental wellness through evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group psychological counselling.
Develop mental conditioning and performance enhancement programs.
Support athletes in managing stress, anxiety, confidence, and performance challenges.
Collaborate with coaches and sports medicine professionals.
Assist with injury rehabilitation and return-to-play support.
Conduct psychological assessments and maintain confidential records.
Deliver workshops on resilience, motivation, communication, and mental wellness.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Psychology, Sports Psychology, or a related field.
Certification or specialised training in Sports Psychology is preferred.
Knowledge of performance psychology, CBT, mindfulness, and mental skills training.
Solid communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with athletes and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in Sports Psychology, Counselling, or Clinical Psychology.
Experience working with competitive or qualified athletes is preferred.
Fresh candidates with relevant qualifications and specialised sports psychology training may also be considered.
