Commis Chefs for an airport kitchen operation in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene and following food quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Profile
Prepare food according to standard recipes and kitchen requirements.
Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
Complete mise en place and basic food preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned workstation.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
Maintain proper food storage and stock rotation.
Ensure quality and consistency of food preparation.
Minimize food wastage and follow portion-control guidelines.
Work effectively as part of the kitchen team.
Follow rotational shift schedules.
Previous experience as Commis 1 / Commis 2 / Commis 3 preferred.
Experience in hotel, restaurant, catering or commercial kitchen operations will be an advantage.
Knowledge of basic cooking and food preparation techniques.
Positive understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
