About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically robust Senior / Lead MEPF Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end MEPF execution and coordination for a high-rise commercial building project.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on site execution experience and the ability to independently manage MEPF works from drawings and coordination through execution, testing & commissioning, statutory approvals and final handover.

Candidates with experience in GIFT City-based high-rise/commercial projects will be given strong preference.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or relevant MEPF qualification.
- 5 - 7 years of overall MEPF experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise commercial/building projects.

Key Technical Skills

Electrical

- HT/LT systems, transformers, DG, UPS and electrical panels.
- Bus duct, cable trays, earthing, lighting and associated electrical systems.

HVAC

- Chillers, AHU/FAHU/FCU.
- Ducting, chilled-water piping, ventilation, smoke extraction and pressurization systems.

Plumbing

- Domestic water supply, drainage and storm-water systems.
- Pumps, tanks and associated plumbing systems.

Fire & Life Safety:
- Fire-fighting systems and fire alarm systems.
- Knowledge of applicable fire and life-safety requirements.





ELV / BMS / Integration:
- ELV systems, BMS and integration of various MEPF systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of MEPF site execution and coordination.
- Review and coordinate GFC, shop, coordination, builder-work and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate MEPF works with Civil, Structural, Architectural and Interior teams.
- Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, quality standards, safety requirements and applicable codes/standards.
- Manage and monitor MEPF contractors, vendors, manpower, materials and work progress.
- Prepare and monitor look-ahead schedules, progress plans and material requirements.
- Track critical and long-lead materials and ensure timely availability at site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical issues, clashes and execution constraints.
- Coordinate BIM/MEP services using AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Navisworks wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper QA/QC documentation, including ITP, MIR, WIR, Method Statements, NCRs and inspection records.
- Lead and coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C;) activities and integrated MEPF system testing.
- Coordinate statutory approvals, including Fire NOC, Electrical Inspectorate and other relevant authority requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and final project handover, including O&M; manuals, test reports, commissioning reports, as-built drawings and handover dossiers.




- Ensure compliance with applicable NBC 2016, relevant codes, standards and statutory requirements.
- Identify project risks, resolve technical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Lead MEPF coordination meetings and ensure timely closure of technical and execution-related issues.

- High-rise commercial buildings
- Large-scale integrated MEPF projects
- BIM/MEP coordination
- Statutory approvals and authority coordination
- Complete MEPF Testing & Commissioning and handover

Important Hiring Criteria

Preference will be given to candidates who have strong hands-on high-rise commercial site execution experience rather than candidates whose experience is primarily limited to consultancy, design or basic MEP site supervision.

The selected candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete MEPF cycle:

Drawings → Coordination → Execution → QA/QC → Testing & Commissioning → Statutory Approvals → Handover

Candidates with strong technical ownership, leadership capabilities and relevant GIFT City/high-rise commercial project experience will be prioritized for technical evaluation.
