Position Title : Medical Officer

Department : Medical Services

Reports To : Medical Superintendent / HOD

Job Summary

The Medical Officer is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatment, and ensuring proper patient management in accordance with hospital policies and medical standards.

Key Responsibilities
Examine and diagnose patients in OPD/IPD and emergency cases.
Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and maintain proper medical records.
Attend emergency and critical care cases when required.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments for patient care.
Ensure timely admission, discharge, and referral of patients.
Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment and preventive care.




Participate in medical rounds, meetings, and clinical audits.
Maintain confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
Handle medico-legal cases as per hospital guidelines.
Support hospital quality initiatives and NABH standards.

Educational Qualification
BAMS/MBBS from a recognized medical college.
Valid Medical Council Registration.

Experience
Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
Experience in hospital or emergency care preferred.

Valuable communication and patient handling abilities.
Emergency management knowledge.
Teamwork and coordination skills.
Basic computer knowledge and EMR handling.

Pay: ₹20,668.56 - ₹40,242.47 per month
