Job Summary
Rabbit Stationery Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Purchase Manager to handle procurement, vendor management, inventory coordination and cost‑effective purchasing for our manufacturing operations. Manufacturing purchase experience is mandatory. Candidates outside Pune or without manufacturing procurement experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage and execute purchase requirements for raw materials, packaging and production supplies
Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors for best pricing and quality
Maintain purchase records, GRN, bills and documentation
Coordinate with production, stores, QC, accounts and dispatch teams
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as required
Compare quotations, prepare purchase orders and track deliveries
Maintain vendor performance, quality standards and cost control
Resolve supplier issues, delays and discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement SOPs
Support management with purchase planning, budgeting and reporting
Maintain solid communication with internal departments and external suppliers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 3 years of purchase experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory)
Robust knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management and inventory coordination
Valuable negotiation, communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines
Proficiency in Tally prime, MS Excel, email communication and purchase
