Role & responsibilities
To evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
To treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
To provide training and education to family/caregivers and other specialists.
To work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
To suggest stimulation exercises to parents to continue activities at home
To suggest making low cost and indigenous training materials practical for the therapy
To take classes and provide training to other health care specialists as required
To involve parents and family in the treatment, review and rehabilitation of patients
To conduct parental workshops and forums
To develop educational materials on speech and language
To involve in monitoring speech therapy services in LVPEIs network
