We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Designer with relevant experience in the garment export industry to support our design team in developing current styles and collections.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the senior designer in developing current styles and collections.
Prepare design sheets, sketches, colour combinations and artwork.
Research fashion trends, fabrics, prints, colours and silhouettes.
Assist in sample development and coordinate with sampling and production teams.
Prepare and maintain tech packs, specifications and design-related documents.
Coordinate with merchandising and production teams for design execution.
Follow up on samples and make necessary design amendments.
Maintain design files, fabric/trim details and collection records.
Ensure designs meet buyer requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a garment/fashion export company.
Only candidates with export company experience should apply.
This position is not for freshers.
Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Designing or a related field.
Good knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, colours and garment construction.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.
Strong creative skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced export setting.
Note: Candidates with less than 3 years of experience or without relevant export company experience will not be considered.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
