Role & responsibilities

The Sr. Executive Factory Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and financial activities at the manufacturing unit, ensuring accurate recording of factory transactions, timely reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, inventory accounting, and coordination between the factory and corporate finance teams.

The role requires robust knowledge of manufacturing accounting, inventory, costing, GST, TDS, vendor accounting, payroll-related accounting, fixed assets, and MIS reporting, with the ability to identify financial discrepancies and support management in controlling factory costs.

Key Responsibilities
Factory Accounting & Bookkeeping
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions of the factory.
Verify and post purchase, expense, inventory, service, and other factory-related entries.
Ensure proper accounting and supporting documentation for all factory expenses.
Review cash, bank, vendor, employee, and inter-unit transactions.
Perform periodic reconciliation of factory books with corporate accounts.




Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
Inventory & Stores Accounting
Monitor accounting of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Reconcile physical stock with ERP/accounting records.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Purchase, and Commercial teams for stock discrepancies.
Review material consumption and identify abnormal variances.
Support periodic physical inventory verification and audit.
Ensure proper accounting of material receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
Accounts Payable & Vendor Accounting
Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, GRNs, service entries, and supporting documents.
Ensure correct GST, TDS, and other applicable deductions.
Monitor vendor balances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Prepare vendor reconciliation and payment-related reports.
