Senior Manager - Accounts and Finance

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager Accounts & Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations across the organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and reporting standards while supporting business growth and decision-making.

The incumbent will drive end-to-end accounting functions, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. They will play a critical role in strengthening internal controls, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

This position requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic financial oversight with operational excellence, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide insights that contribute to the organization's financial health and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including maintenance of books of accounts, journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures and ensure timely finalization of financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Prepare and present MIS reports including cash ow, profitability analysis, and debtors/creditors ageing, along with variance analysis.
- Ensure complete compliance with Indian taxation laws including GST (returns, reconciliations, GST amendments, GST refund application), TDS (calculation, filing), Income Tax, and support in Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Handle statutory, internal, and tax audits, including coordination with auditors and closure of audit queries.
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions including vendor payments, bank reconciliations, payroll accounting, PF compliance, and expense tracking.
- Oversee accounting and compliance for international entities (Dubai / Singapore / USA) and coordinate with global consultants for regulatory requirements.
- Manage inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting, including support for consolidation and multi-currency accounting.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, including variance tracking and cost optimization strategies.
- Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and process improvements to enhance eficiency and ensure compliance.
- Monitor financial data to identify risks, discrepancies, and irregularities, and take corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation for all transactions and compliance requirements.
- Lead and manage the accounts team, review work outputs, and ensure adherence to timeliness and accuracy.




- Provide regular financial insights and reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and high standards of financial governance and ethics.
- Support business expansion by aligning finance processes for new geographies and international operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 8+ years experience with relevant Chartered Accountant degree and further training in the field for Managerial Role.
- Exposure to International accounting and taxation (Dubai / Singapore / USA) will be a strong advantage.
- Experience in financial services / consulting / multi-entity environment preferred.

Skills Required:

- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting and financial management.
- Expertise in preparation and finalization of financial statements and P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation including but not limited to GST (returns, reconciliation, compliance, refund application), TDS calculation, filing, reconciliation), Income Tax compliance, Transfer Pricing coordination and documentation support.
- Exposure in RBI compliance, FEMA guidelines, knowledge about LRS/ODI rules.
- Experience in handling audits and statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Exposure to international accounting practices (UAE VAT, Singapore GST, basic US GAAP concepts).
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, inter-company transactions, and consolidation.
- Hands-on experience in accounting software like (Tally Prime) and MS Office (Advanced Excel).
- Ability to handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and financial risks.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
