Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead residential design projects from concept through completion, ensuring that each space reflects the client’s lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layouts and detailed drawings, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E;, and supervising on-site execution to ensure design integrity and quality. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and junior designers, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining alignment with Homeitup’s design standards. This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru,



requiring regular presence at client sites and the studio.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, visually compelling residential environments.
- Strong understanding of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings for accurate design documentation and coordination with contractors.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and procurement for residential projects.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and competence with presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of experience in residential interior design.
- Ability to lead projects, mentor junior designers, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, knowledge of materials and finishes, and familiarity with local building codes and construction practices.
- Portfolio showcasing completed residential projects that highlight creative problem-solving and client-focused design solutions.
