Job Summary

The Manager Legal will be responsible for handling the organization's civil and criminal litigation matters, providing legal advice to internal stakeholders, coordinating with external advocates, representing the company's legal interests, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role requires solid expertise in dispute resolution, litigation management, legal documentation, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Management
Handle all civil and criminal litigation involving the organization.
Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and law enforcement agencies.
Prepare litigation strategy in consultation with senior management.
Monitor court proceedings, maintain case status, and ensure timely follow-up.
Review pleadings, written statements, affidavits, petitions, appeals, and other legal documents.
Maintain complete records of ongoing and concluded legal cases.

Legal Advisory
Provide legal opinions on business matters, contracts, employment issues, recovery matters, and operational risks.




Advise management on legal implications of business decisions.
Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Contract & Documentation
Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, notices, legal correspondence, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
Ensure legal documentation complies with applicable laws and company policies.

Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable central and state laws.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities and government departments whenever required.
Monitor changes in legal and regulatory requirements affecting the organization.

Recovery & Dispute Resolution
Handle recovery proceedings, legal notices, arbitration matters, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
Represent the company's interests during dispute resolution processes.
