We are looking for a skilled CMM Operator to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for accurate inspection and measurement of mechanical components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and program CMM machines for dimensional inspection.
Perform accurate measurements of components using CMM equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and inspection standards.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain measurement records.
Identify dimensional deviations and coordinate with the production and quality teams.
Perform routine checks and ensure proper calibration of measuring equipment.
Maintain CMM machine and ensure secure working practices.
Follow company quality procedures and ISO standards.
Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of CMM operation and measurement techniques.
Understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and tolerances.
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Basic knowledge of CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar.
Positive attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
