We are looking for an experienced Electromagnetic Design Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in electromagnetic/magnetic circuit design, rotary machines, motors and actuator design.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in BLDC, PMSM, PMDC or other rotary machines, along with electromagnetic simulation, rotor optimization, coil/winding design and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize magnetic circuits for electromagnetic and rotary applications.
Perform electromagnetic design and analysis of motors and actuators.
Work on BLDC, PMSM, PMDC or other rotary machine design and optimization.
Perform rotor optimization to improve torque, efficiency and electromagnetic performance.
Design and optimize coil and winding configurations.
Analyze magnetic flux, flux density, torque, torque ripple, losses and saturation.
Perform electromagnetic simulations and interpret simulation results.
Support simulation-to-test correlation, design validation and prototype development.
Perform engineering calculations and recommend design improvements.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and cross-functional engineering teams.
Prepare technical documentation, simulation reports and design specifications.
Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and performance improvement activities.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Electromagnetic / Magnetic Circuit Design.
Robust understanding of electromagnetic principles and magnetic circuits.
Hands-on experience in motor / rotary machine / actuator design.
Experience in rotor optimization and electromagnetic performance improvement.
Positive knowledge of coil and winding design.
Experience with ANSYS Maxwell and/or FEMM.
Knowledge of Creo or similar CAD tools.
Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as Motor
