Job Description
Manage, maintain, and monitor biomedical equipment and medical devices in the hospital.
Coordinate installation, testing, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of medical equipment.
Ensure proper functioning and safety of equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, ECG machines, infusion pumps, defibrillators, OT equipment, etc.
Coordinate with service engineers and vendors for equipment breakdowns and maintenance.
Maintain equipment records, service reports, AMC/CMC details, and maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with hospital safety and regulatory standards.
Support departments in the proper operation and handling of biomedical equipment.
Maintain inventory of biomedical equipment, spare parts, and accessories.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Assist in procurement, evaluation, and commissioning of recent medical equipment
