Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager with strong hands-on experience in Australian and UK Accounting, particularly in Bookkeeping, Year-End Accounts and Taxation. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Australian Accounting experience and 3 years of UK Accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities
Australian Accounting
Manage end-to-end Australian bookkeeping and accounting activities.
Handle Year-End Accounts preparation and finalisation.
Prepare and review Individual, Company, Trust and Partnership Tax Returns.
Handle BAS, GST and other Australian tax compliance requirements.
Perform bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
Review accounting records and identify discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
Communicate with clients regarding accounting and taxation matters.
Review work completed by junior accountants and provide technical guidance.
UK Accounting
Handle end-to-end UK bookkeeping and accounting activities.
Prepare Year-End Accounts for UK clients.
Assist with Corporation Tax preparation and related compliance.
Prepare and review VAT Returns.
Perform bank, balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
Handle AP, AR and general ledger activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant UK accounting and taxation requirements.
Resolve client queries and coordinate with UK clients.

Qualification
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or pursuing professional certification will be an added advantage.
