Role Description The Senior Engineer – Planning and Billing (Civil) will oversee project planning, scheduling, and quantity estimation for ongoing civil infrastructure works, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and technical specifications. This full-time, in office role is based in Bhadrak and involves preparing and reviewing bills of quantities (BOQs), RA bills, and final bills, as well as validating contractor and vendor invoices against site measurements. The position includes coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and clients to track progress, update work schedules,



and resolve technical and billing-related queries.

The Senior

Engineer will maintain detailed project documentation, monitor cost and resource utilization, and support compliance with quality and safety standards. The role also requires regular reporting on project status, risks, and variances to management, and contributing to process improvements in planning and billing practices.

Qualifications

- Civil engineering planning and execution skills, including project scheduling, resource planning, and familiarity with, drainage, and pavement works, earthworks and building O&M; .
- Strong billing and quantity surveying capabilities, including preparation of BOQs, RA bills, final bills, and verification of measurements and contractor invoices.
- Proficiency with engineering and planning tools such as MS Excel, MS Project or similar scheduling software, and basic CAD or drawing-reading skills.
- Knowledge of contract management, tender documents, technical specifications, and relevant civil engineering standards and codes.
- Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills for working with site teams, contractors, and client representatives.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to manage costs, timelines, and billing accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in planning and billing for civil infrastructure projects; prior work in refinery and ports is beneficial.
