Role Overview We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a DevSecOps mindset to play a key role in strengthening the foundation of our technology platforms. This is not just about infrastructure its about ensuring stability, scalability, and security for products that millions of investors rely on daily. You will work closely with our Tech team to bring automation, resilience, and modern DevOps practices into our hybrid workplace (cloud + on-prem).

From streamlining deployments to enhancing system reliability, your work will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of Value Research’s websites, services, and flagship advisory products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure (any cloud AWS/GCP/Azure).
2. Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
3. Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi etc.).
4. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and equivalent.
5. Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability for production and development environments.

Perform system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
7. Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are built for scale and reliability.
8. Advocate and implement DevOps best practices including automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code.
9. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response and L3 level
10. Experience to perform Infrastructure Sizing, Capacity Planning, Cost Optimization, Auto-scaling & Performance Tuning
11. Container Orchestration: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
12. Scripting/Automation: Python or Bash for creating automated scaling scripts.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5–8 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
2. Proficient with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) – with deep experience in at least one.
3. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
4. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
5. Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking.
6. Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
7. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
8. Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems.
9. Familiarity with GitOps and DevSecOps practices is a plus.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Good communication and collaboration skills.
