Role & responsibilities
Implement and monitor occupational health and safety programs across the facility.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety policies.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Organize safety training, tool-box talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and documentation.
Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance.
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and evacuation exercises.
Support ISO 45001 and other EHS management system implementation and audits.
Liaise with government authorities and external agencies regarding safety compliance.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
