Job Summary

Responsible for managing the hospital reception desk, attending to patients and visitors, handling enquiries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth front-office operations with skilled and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist patients, attendants, visitors, and doctors professionally.
Attend incoming calls and provide accurate information regarding hospital services.
Register current and existing patients and verify basic patient details.
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and consultations.
Guide patients to the appropriate department, doctor, or service area.
Coordinate with billing, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, and other departments.
Maintain proper records of appointments, enquiries, and patient-related information.
Handle patient enquiries and complaints courteously and escalate issues to the concerned department when required.
Provide information about hospital facilities, visiting hours, services, and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.




Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and professionally maintained.
Support admission, discharge, and other front-office processes as assigned.
Maintain proper handover and communication between shifts.
Follow hospital rules, SOPs, safety requirements, and patient-care standards.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager / Management.

Qualification
Any Degree / Diploma.
Diploma or certification in Hospital Administration / Front Office Management will be an added advantage.

Experience
0–3 years of experience in hospital reception / front office / customer service.
Freshers with good communication and interpersonal skills may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
Knowledge of hospital software / HIS is preferred.
