Role & responsibilities
Month-end activities and provisions
Coordinate on the last day of the month for provisions, inventories, RGP/NRGP register, job work register, etc.
Prepare and post provision workings and entries for EOU and Engineering.
Prepaid expenses and insurance
Track and book prepaid insurance and expenses on a monthly basis.
Statutory liabilities and payroll-related accounting
Prepare TDS payable working and share with consultant.
Pass accounting entries for salary and wages.
Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of statutory payments, including:
Provident Fund (PF)
Skilled Tax (PT)
ESIC payment
Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
NPS
TDS on salary
Fixed assets and depreciation
Update Fixed Assets Register and fixed asset roll-forward for Head Office.
Track and account for monthly depreciation entries.
Ensure matching of FAR with Trial Balance and schedules.
Bonus and employee-related provisions
Compute monthly bonus provision and track payments.
Handle EOU bonus for blue-collar, white-collar,



and statutory bonus requirements.
Prepare provision for leave encashment for blue-collar employees.
Monitor and account for employees TDS liabilities.
Routine accounting and compliance checks
Scrutinize purchase and service bills, ledgers, and chart of accounts on a regular basis.
Check TDS, GST, and other compliance aspects in day-to-day entries.
Pass routine accounting entries and journal vouchers required for monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
Resolve queries and regularize transactions from taxation and accounting standards perspective.
Maintain control over Chart of Accounts and Tally masters.
Financial reporting & audit support
Assist in preparation of draft financial statements.
Prepare and provide data as per auditors’ information request list (IRL).
Explain transactions and provide clarifications to auditors as required.
