We are looking for a detail-oriented qualified to support a 4-month Credit Monitoring Division Audit assignment. The role will involve reviewing post-disbursement credit monitoring practices, borrower financial and operational information, covenant compliance, account conduct, Early Warning Signals (EWS), risk grading, and SMA/NPA classification.
Key Responsibilities
Review the post-disbursement monitoring framework and assess its effectiveness.
Review financial statements, stock statements, and operational performance of borrowers.
Monitor compliance with loan covenants, borrower stipulations, and sanction conditions.
Identify and evaluate Early Warning Signals (EWS) in borrower accounts.
Review account conduct, transaction patterns, irregularities, and deviations.
Verify credit rating reviews and risk grading processes.
Review the accuracy of SMA/NPA classification and reporting.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the escalation mechanism for identified risks and irregularities.
Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Conduct internal account reviews and verify relevant credit-monitoring records.
Review and verify regulatory submissions related to credit monitoring and asset classification.
Identify gaps, deviations, and control weaknesses in the credit monitoring process.
Prepare audit observations, working papers, and review reports.
Coordinate with relevant teams for clarification and supporting documents.
Escalate critical findings and unresolved issues to the appropriate authority.
Ensure audit activities are completed within the assigned 4-month project timeline.
