The Quality Officer – QA/QC will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities, materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building construction, real estate or EPC projects, with solid exposure to structural works, finishing, inspections, testing and quality documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Control – Site Execution
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Conduct inspections at different stages of construction.
Check structural, civil and finishing works for quality compliance.
Coordinate with site engineers and contractors to resolve quality issues.
Ensure proper implementation of approved method statements and checklists.
Material & Workmanship Inspection
Inspect incoming construction materials and verify compliance with approved specifications.
Coordinate material testing and maintain test reports.
Monitor concrete, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, tiling and finishing activities.
Ensure workmanship meets defined project quality standards.
QA/QC Documentation
Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans, checklists and inspection records.
Maintain material approvals, test reports and quality documentation.
Identify deviations and initiate corrective actions.
Raise and track NCRs wherever required.
Maintain snag/punch lists and ensure timely closure.
Consultant & Contractor Coordination
Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, PMC and project teams on quality-related matters.
Conduct joint inspections wherever required.
