The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about academic programs, and supporting them from initial inquiry to enrolment. The role involves student counselling, lead follow-up, application processing, and meeting enrolment targets while maintaining a positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents on courses, eligibility, fees, and career prospects
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, chat, and walk-ins
Guide students through the admission process
Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into enrolments
Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems
Meet individual and team admission targets
Address student concerns and provide ongoing support until enrolment
Salary shall be in the range of 10,000 to 20,000.
Apart from salary attractive incentive of around 10000 to 15000 per month is possible based on performance.
Candidate with relevant experience as admission counsellor with leading educational institution are preferred.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
1–3 years of experience in admissions counselling with any of the leading educational institution.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to persuade and build trust with students and parents
Valuable organizational and time-management skills
Target-driven and student-focused mindset
