Role & responsibilities
Engineering spares, electrical items, plumbing, consumables, MRO items, services and contracts.
Vendor Management: Vendor identification, development, evaluation, negotiation and relationship management.
Commercial: RFQ, quotation comparison, costing, price negotiation, PO/WO finalization and cost reduction.
Contracts: Rate contracts, annual contracts, service contracts, renewals and coordination with Legal.
Imports: Import procurement, documentation and customs clearance procedures.
ERP: SAP/ERP purchase module and MIS reporting.
Robust plus: Local market knowledge for engineering/MRO items.
KPI orientation: Cost reduction, timely delivery, vendor development, quality improvement and rate contracts.

Preferred candidate profile
Education: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. preferably Mechanical/Engineering; PG Diploma in Materials Management is an advantage.
Experience: 810 years in Procurement / Purchase / SCM, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or plant settings.
