Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer – Production Planning to support production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and daily production monitoring. The candidate will coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth and timely production.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans based on customer requirements.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of planned activities.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
Check material availability and highlight shortages to the concerned departments.
Track production progress against the planned schedule.
Prepare daily production reports, MIS, and planning-related documents.
Monitor work orders, production quantities, and pending jobs.
Follow up on delays and coordinate corrective actions with concerned departments.
Maintain production planning records and update ERP/MIS systems.
Support capacity planning and machine/work-centre utilization monitoring.
Assist in identifying bottlenecks and improving production flow.
Ensure proper communication of production priorities to the shop floor.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems will be an advantage.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to analyze production data and prepare reports.
Valuable follow-up and problem-solving skills.
