Role Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and Crossplane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows and containerized platforms. Collaborate and liaise with cross-functional development teams to align infrastructure operations with software delivery goals, ensuring seamless integration across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, build and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.

· Deploy, manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, preferably EKS.

· Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.

· Build, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure automation.

· Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Crossplane, Terraform or similar.





· Use Crossplane to provision and manage cloud resources through Kubernetes-native workflows.

· Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and release processes.

· Monitor system performance, reliability and availability across environments.

· Collaborate with development, QA and security teams to improve deployment quality and speed.

· Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and production issues.

Required Skills

· 5 to 12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or SRE roles.

· Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services.

· Good experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS.

· Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment practices.

· Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or AWS CodeBuild.

· Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.

· Experience with Crossplane for Kubernetes-native infrastructure provisioning.

· Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.

· Good knowledge of Helm, Kustomize or similar Kubernetes deployment tools.

· Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or ELK.

· Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar languages.

· Good understanding of networking, IAM, security and cloud cost optimization.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with EKS, ECR, CodeBuild, Fargate/Lambda, SNS/SQS and Secrets Manager.

· Experience building platform engineering workflows using Crossplane.

· Knowledge of Kubernetes operators and custom resources.

· Exposure to DevSecOps practices and vulnerability scanning tools.

· Experience with microservices architecture and production-grade cloud deployments.

· AWS certification is a plus.
