- Design and deliver specific number of styles in seasonal ranges aligned to brand’s aesthetics
/n
- Ensure excellence in design language
/n
- Possess excellent sketching and rendering skill set
/n
- Drive strong artwork, print placements and proportion accuracy across various silhouettes
/n
- Study previous sell-throughs and feedback to refine and improve collections
/n
- Ensure adherence to range plan (category mix, costing, product balance)
/n
- Conduct focused research on materials, techniques and details etc
/n
- Stay updated with global and local fashion trends relevant to the brand
/n
- Drive adoption of relevant design tools and software advancements
/n /n /n Sampling /n /n
- Development of prototypes and final samples with clear design direction
/n
- Color matching of dying and digital swatches across different fabrics used in one drop
/n
- Ensure accurate execution of prints, and surface developments
/n
- Work closely with pattern masters to achieve desired fit and fall
/n
- Review samples at each stage of construction
/n
- Ensure final samples meet brand standards in quality and aesthetics
/n /n /n Handover to Production /n /n
- Ensure complete and accurate handover dockets with all required details
/n
- To check patterns, digital files, artworks, fits,
and colour ways for handover
/n
- To overlook costing in alignment with buying
/n
- Ensure line sheets, fits, and product details are aligned for buying teams
/n
- Identify and close gaps before production
/n /n /n Archiving & Process Management /n /n
- Ensure structured and complete seasonal archiving (artworks, trims, details etc.)
/n
- Maintain disciplined documentation across all design and sampling stages
/n /n /n Vendor Development & Management /n /n
- Identify and onboard vendors for fabrics, prints, and trims etc
/n
- Build strong vendor relationships to achieve quality and innovation
/n /n /n Requirements /n /n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design
/n
- 6–8 years of experience in apparel design, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands
/n
- Strong understanding of luxury fashion aesthetics and garment construction
/n
- Experience handling end-to-end collection development
/n /n /n Technical Skills /n /n
- Advanced capability in artwork creation, print development, and placement
/n
- Ability to develop complete collections aligned to brand
/n
- Strong understanding of fabrics, dyeing, printing, and surface techniques
/n
- Expertise in sampling, fittings, and final product on-time delivery
/n
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design softwares with basic knowledge of Excel
/n
- Strong understanding of costing, and production feasibility / friendliness of the design
