Role: Business Analyst – Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document complex business and functional requirements across payment products.
- Lead detailed requirement workshops with business, technology, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and supporting requirements documentation.
- Manage backlog grooming/refinement, prioritization, dependencies, and requirement traceability.
- Drive analysis across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through development, testing, UAT, and implementation.
- Analyze risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Work closely with Agile teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
- Contribute to Agile ways of working beyond standard Sprint/Scrum ceremonies.
- Support digital payment journeys across Mobile Apps and Web/Browser platforms.
- Collaborate on payment solutions involving Cross-Border Payments, FX Engines, Wallets,



Payment Operations, ISO 20022, and Compliance/Regulatory Payments.
- Work across multiple geographies and understand regional payment requirements and regulatory considerations.

Must-Have Skills

Strong Payments domain experience

Cross-Border Payments exposure

Mobile/Web customer journey experience

ISO 20022

FX / Wallets / Payment Operations

Compliance & Regulatory Payments

Experience across 2+ geographies

Robust BA skills – Epics, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria

Requirement workshops & backlog management

2+ years of meaningful Agile experience

Strong understanding of E2E SDLC

Risk & issue analysis

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Preferred: Previous HSBC experience (not mandatory)
