We are looking for an experienced MT5 / MQL5 Algorithmic Trading Developer to develop, test, optimize and maintain automated trading systems primarily for XAUUSD (Gold).

Location: Chennai / Remote
Employment: Full time / Part-time / Contract

Responsibilities

The selected developer will be responsible for:
Developing fully automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors (EAs) using MQL5.
Converting manual XAUUSD trading strategies into executable trading algorithms.
Developing strategies for 1-minute, 5-minute and other intraday timeframes.
Implementing entry and exit conditions based on:
Candlestick patterns
Support and resistance
Trend analysis
Moving averages
RSI
MACD
ATR
ADX
Volume
Price action
Dow Theory / market structure
Developing advanced money-management and position-sizing systems.
Implementing:
Stop Loss
Take Profit
Trailing Stop
Break-even
Partial profit booking
Agile lot sizing




Recovery/hedging systems
Developing appropriate safeguards for martingale or progressive lot-sizing strategies.
Creating configurable trading sessions and news filters.
Integrating economic-news or external data APIs where required.
Developing communication between MT5 and Python where necessary.
Performing backtesting using historical tick data.
Conducting forward testing on demo accounts.
Optimizing strategies without excessive curve-fitting.
Preparing detailed reports showing:
Profit factor
Maximum drawdown
Win rate
Expected payoff
Recovery factor
Total trades
Monthly returns
Troubleshooting and maintaining existing Expert Advisors.
Protecting the confidentiality and source code of proprietary trading strategies.
