About the Role

The CDP / DCDP – Bakery & Pastry will be responsible for handling day-to-day bakery and pastry production while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, hygiene and efficiency.

The role requires robust technical knowledge of bakery and pastry production,



the ability to independently manage assigned sections and the capability to supervise and guide junior team members during daily production.

Key Responsibilities
Handle the daily production of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, cookies, desserts and other bakery products
Independently manage assigned bakery / pastry sections and production requirements
Handle weighing, scaling, mixing, baking, assembling, decorating and finishing
Follow and maintain standardized recipes and production procedures
Prepare daily mise en place and ensure production readiness
Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture, appearance and portion size
Supervise and guide Commis and junior team members during production
Coordinate with senior chefs to execute bulk production as per daily requirements
Ensure production is completed within specified timelines
Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage
Follow FIFO and ensure proper storage and hand
