Job Responsibilities
Collect and receive patient samples according to hospital protocols
Perform laboratory tests as per assigned department and scope of practice
Handle and process blood, urine and other clinical specimens




Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Follow proper sample identification and labeling procedures
Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports
Perform quality-control procedures as required
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laboratory
Follow infection-control and biomedical waste management protocols
Report abnormal or critical findings to the appropriate senior staff
Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare specialists
Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory samples and reagents
