Job Title: Lab Assistant – Pharmacy Department (Ahmedabad Gujarat)

Job Summary:
Ahmedabad Institute of Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support the Pharmacy Department in maintaining laboratory operations and assisting faculty and students during practical sessions. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Pharmacy and a basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety standards. Women candidates are preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist faculty members during practical laboratory sessions.
Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials required for experiments.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the laboratory.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals and laboratory supplies.
Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory and report shortages.
Assist in maintaining laboratory records and documentation.




Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines and institutional policies.
Provide basic technical assistance to students during lab sessions.

Qualifications:
B. Pharm candidates Preferred salary shall be offered as per criteria.
Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) from a recognized institution PCI approved.
Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical laboratory procedures.
Valuable organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work in an academic laboratory setting.

Experience:
Freshers may apply; prior laboratory experience will be an added advantage.

Job Details:
Working Hours: 9:15 AM – 5:15 PM (2nd & 4th Saturday off)
Location: Ahmedabad
