Responsibilities
Financial Accounting:
Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and fixed asset tracking via cloud accounting platforms.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance:
Prepare, verify, and submit monthly GST returns, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) calculations, and annual corporate income tax schedules.
Month-End Closing:
Execute structured month-end closing procedures, bank balance reconciliations, and intercompany ledger matching.
HQ Reporting Pipeline:
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow statements) adjusted to corporate IFRS/Taiwan GAAP accounting standards.
Audit Support:
Act as the main local contact for external audit firms during mandatory annual financial inspections and statutory tax reviews.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting from a recognized university. Master of Commerce (M.Com) or semi-qualified CA/CMA is an advantage.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of post-qualification corporate accounting experience, preferably working within a multinational company workplace or handling foreign subsidiary books.
Software:
Knowledge of using Oracle Accounting software is an advantage.
Other:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
