This is not a traditional back-office role. You will be part of a growing international team, working directly with UK-based teams, gaining exposure to UK personal tax, contemporary systems, and the standards expected within a leading UK accountancy group.
As demand for UK personal tax support continues to grow across TC Group, we are expanding our India tax team and are looking for talented tax professionals who want to build a long-term career in UK taxation.
The Role
We are looking for a UK Personal Tax Executive / Senior to support the preparation and delivery of UK Self Assessment tax returns.
You will work with UK-based colleagues on a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, supporting the preparation of tax returns, reviewing client information, and helping ensure work is delivered accurately and on time.
This role would suit someone with existing UK personal tax experience, or a solid tax background who is keen to specialise in UK personal tax within a growing international team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare UK Self Assessment tax returns
Work with employment income, rental income, business income, dividends, interest, pensions and capital gains tax matters
Collate, review and analyse client documentation
Prepare accurate tax computations and supporting working papers
Ensure work is completed in line with HMRC deadlines and internal quality standards
Liaise with UK-based teams to resolve queries and obtain missing information
