About the Role

Thermostat & Controls is looking for a Production Engineer / Supervisor to manage and monitor day-to-day production activities and ensure that products are manufactured as per required quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved within the required timelines.
Monitor manpower allocation and work distribution on the shop floor.
Ensure production processes are followed as per work instructions and SOPs.
Check the quality of components and finished products during production.
Coordinate with the Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance teams.
Identify production issues and take corrective action to minimize rejection and downtime.
Maintain daily production records, rejection reports, and other production documentation.




Monitor machine and equipment performance and report maintenance requirements.
Ensure proper handling and availability of raw materials and components.
Implement 5S and maintain cleanliness and discipline on the shop floor.
Monitor rework, rejection, and material wastage and work towards reducing them.
Assist in process improvement and productivity improvement activities.
Train and guide operators/workers regarding production processes and quality requirements.
Ensure safety procedures are followed during production activities.
Prepare daily production reports and provide updates to management.

Candidate Profile
Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in production/manufacturing preferred.
Freshers with a robust interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn may also apply.
