The role will be responsible for ensuring reliable, accurate, and timely dimensional measurement, particularly for critical and precision components used in machine manufacturing
Roles and responsibility
Independently operate CMM equipment’s for inspection of precision components
Develop, modify, optimize, and validate CMM inspection programmes
Read and interpret engineering drawings GD&T;, specifications, and inspection standards.
Select appropriate measurement strategies, probes fixtures and references systems.
Establish correct alignment and measurement coordinate systems
Perform dimensional inspection of complex components assemblies’ gears shafts, housing, fabricated parts, and machined components.
Ensure proper CMM setup, Fixture, Probing,
and components alignment.
Optimize CMM programmes to improves Inspection accuracy and cycle time.
Trouble shoot CMM Programming and measurement -related issues . Understand datum structure and functional requirements of components.
Identify measurement related risks and ensure appropriate measurement methods are used.
Robust understanding and practical application of geometric dimensioning.
