Position Specific Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Valuable basic knowledge of metals, particularly stainless steel.
Experience in supplier/vendor visits, vendor development, and vendor follow-up.
Ability to coordinate with suppliers for quality, delivery, and technical discussions.
Valuable communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems will be an added advantage.

Position Specific Skills
Good knowledge of stainless steel grades, specifications, and applications.
Basic understanding of metal manufacturing processes such as rolling, slitting, annealing, and pickling.
Experience in supplier/vendor development, vendor evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Ability to conduct supplier visits, audits,



and technical discussions.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills to ensure timely material delivery.
Knowledge of quality parameters, material test certificates (MTC), and inspection requirements.
Valuable negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for procurement and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and cross-functional coordination with production, quality, and planning teams.
