Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, emotional, social, and behavioural concerns.
Identify students who may require additional emotional or psychological support.
Conduct age-appropriate well-being and life-skills sessions for students.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to understand and address student concerns.
Maintain appropriate and confidential counselling records and documentation.
Develop and implement student well-being initiatives and awareness programmes.
Support students in developing healthy coping mechanisms, communication skills, confidence, and resilience.
Handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Make appropriate referrals to external mental-health professionals when required.
Contribute to creating a secure, inclusive,
and supportive school setting.
Candidate Profile
Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a relevant field.
Prior experience as a School Counsellor/Student Counsellor will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and observation skills.
Compassionate, approachable, patient, and non-judgmental personality.
Ability to maintain skilled boundaries and confidentiality.
Strong collaboration skills with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
