About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Vendor Manager to lead vendor/resourcemanagement for our Translation & Localization projects. The role will be responsible for building andmanaging a robust vendor pool, ensuring vendor quality and availability, allocating resources accordingto project requirements, and maintaining long-term vendor relationships.The Senior Vendor Manager will also guide junior team members, monitor vendor performance, andwork closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality projectdelivery

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing & Network Building
Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain a reliable pool of translators, proofreaders, editors,interpreters, and localization specialists.
Develop and maintain a robust vendor network across multiple languages and skill sets.
Conduct vendor outreach and negotiate rates and terms based on project requirements.
Continuously expand the vendor database to meet current and future project demands.
Vendor Management & Relationship Building




Manage day-to-day communication and relationships with existing vendors.
Ensure vendors are available and responsive according to project requirements.
Address vendor concerns, queries, escalations, and operational issues.
Build long-term qualified relationships with high-performing vendors.
Vendor Allocation & Project Support
Analyse project requirements and identify suitable vendors based on language, expertise,availability, quality, turnaround time, and budget.
Assign resources/vendors to projects and ensure timely acceptance of assignments.
Coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams for resource planning.
Handle urgent and high-priority resource requirements.
Vendor Performance Management
Track vendor performance based on quality, turnaround time, responsiveness, reliability, andadherence to project requirements.
