Role & responsibilities
Prepare baseline project schedules using MS Project and monitor progress.
Develop detailed execution plans, look-ahead schedules and recovery plans.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, QA/QC, logistics and site teams.
Plan and monitor steel procurement based on project requirements and fabrication schedules.
Coordinate with SCM/vendors to ensure timely availability of structural steel and bought-out items.
Track material availability, inventory and shortages.
Coordinate dispatch planning with plants, transporters and site teams.
Ensure timely dispatch documentation and delivery tracking.
Plan manpower mobilisation as per project milestones and site readiness.
Coordinate deployment of engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workmen.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS, dashboards and progress reports.
Monitor project costs, productivity and resource utilisation.
Identify project risks, delays and recommend mitigation plans.
Participate in client meetings and provide project status updates.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical.
38 years' experience in structural steel/industrial/building projects.
Knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project, Advanced Excel, AutoCAD and ERP preferred.
